Josh’s Wedding Day
My cousin, Josh, got married on Tuesday, June 9 and my sister, Anna, couldn’t make it to the wedding festivities. and she told us to take lots of pictures for her. So, Anna, I took a bunch just for you. Here they are.
Waiting for the bride and groom after the ceremony
Here they are!
Ben got pretty tired and took a nap while we walk in the art museum of the conference center.
This is where the wedding luncheon took place.
Josh sang a love song to Kim.
The Father of the groom at the reception.
For their refreshments at the reception, they had ice cream from Scoopology. Wow, it was so good. What a clever idea.
Ben wanted some ice cream so bad. Look at him eyeing John’s.
The reception place was in a greenhouse. It had plants and flowers everywhere. The colors and decorations were so unique. It was so cool.
I was trying to get a picture with Ben and Dad because everyone keeps saying how much they look alike. But dad has trouble taking a good picture without blinking as you can see from below.
This one makes me laugh because dad was trying so hard to keep his eyes opened.
While dad had his eyes closed, Ben took the opportunity to do what he had wanted to do since he saw John’s ice cream.
Then Jeff showed up with his hair all spiky and stylish! (He missed out on all of the day’s events and came to the reception.) He made quite the entrance because Mom and Leah made such a big deal about his hair.
So there you have it….Josh and Kim’s wedding day through my eyes.

My trip to Boise
I decided to take a trip to Boise last week . I lived there from 1996 to 2004 so it feels like going back home to me. I was so excited to go and I thought in my head, “this is going to make a good blog entry.” But I only took one picture while I was there.
This is the one picture. This is my dad. Out of all of the family members in my family, Ben seems to remind me of my dad the most. Every now and then I’ll look at Ben and I’ll do a double-take because he reminds me of him. My parents were stopping in Boise on there way to Logan to see my Grandma Erma who has pancreatic cancer. They just found out about it and she only has a few days to a few weeks to live. It is very sad but I think once you get past a certain age, passing-on is a good thing.
Well anyway, I really enjoyed my time in Boise with my sister, Anna. At least I could have gotten a picture of her…..my wonderful hostess, but I didn’t. So I’ll have to use one I already have on my computer.
She was so good to me. She took off Thursday and Friday from work. We were able to visit with some old friends and show off my cute baby. And if you are one of my Boise friends and I didn’t get to visit you while I was there, I’m sorry….I tried my best to see as many people as possible. We got to go to places like:
The Boise River Greenbelt. I used to love to go walking and biking on it.
And the Boise Farmers Market
It rocks. It takes up like three blocks. We bought some yummy bread and had free samples of goodies.
We also got to go to one of my favorite restaurants that I can’t find in Provo. The Mongolian Barbeque.
I love Boise. I love the friends I made while I was there. I’m sad I didn’t take any pictures of them while I was there. So I dug through my box of pictures from my Boise days and scanned some in to bring back some old memories.
